Are You Prepared to Trust? – Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles available, but there should be something that you’ve hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or perhaps a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Think of your life because it seems to be nowadays when it comes to the story. Just how do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I do believe my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So once we speak about the past stage of the awakening being pure trust, it’s simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in most of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. acim store  It’s a lot like creating a big house of cards, stacking on one card after the other. A good wind occurs and poof, it’s only blown over. It can’t even stand only a little gust of wind. It’s so frail. It’s so temporary. It’s so transitory; It was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in anything else; dozens of things that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It surely comes down seriously to the essence of who’s my buddy? Is it Spirit or matter? Is it Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried that one?So you are asking the question, “If someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all of this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will show you is that everything is mental and that everything is just a hallucination. This really is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, is not reality at all. There’s no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to build his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons start off with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I’ve given everything I see all the meaning it’s for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way around number 4, “These thoughts do not mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He’s discussing thoughts. First He’s discussing perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes home with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 … perception, perception, perception, perception, perception … and then number 10, “My thoughts do not mean anything.” You can see he’s attempting to melt everything together and show the past veil or stage of awakening, which can be trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back to that particular timeless moment that is the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they’re all illusions and that they’re all equally meaningless. That’s the method of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to utilize your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in all sorts of things. What sort of things can you invest in, nowadays?
