Winds of Mind
Winds of Mind
Sunday morning
knee to knee on zafus
bowing to mind
clouds, cactus wren
a gentle wind
Molecules of air
electrons spinning
omnipresent, invisible
fill space inside and out
I am unaware of the breathing
or surrounding pulsations
unaware of me on the cushion
or my own beating heart
The bell rings, penetrates
passes through me
as if I am not here
Empty space between atoms
more than mass on the cushion.
The wind blows me away
