Pele Fire

Happy Solstice! And welcome to the fire element, and season of the yearly cycle. This element rules the heart, small intestine and sex circulation. We are collectively transforming our relationship with all three of these aspects of the fire element. In fact we are transforming our relationship with the fire element in general and maturing into a human race that is more heart centered. We are welcoming the receptive feminine principle back into our world to create the much needed balance we all long for.

So what is her role in this fire element? We have the heart which rules our passion, relationships, joy, warmth, transformation, creativity, and just plain juiciness of life that emanates care toward everything and everyone else. The heart’s partner in this is the small intestine that supports the heart by sifting through and separating the pure from the impure. It supports the heart to follow what is pure with discernment. When we walk through life with an open heart and follow it, a good companion is discernment.

Sex circulation moves our raw creative energy through the channels and supports us to create, bring into manifestation and form from the realm of the unmanifest. It supports the nourishment of all the organ systems so they are alive and healthy, contributing to the creative process. Read more »

Speak Your Truth

April 02, 2010 By: Matsya Siosal Category: Awakening Feminine, Feminine Wisdom, Teachers

For every woman we have named, there are a hundred who speak; for every hundred who speak, there are a thousand who know;

for every thousand who know, there are ten thousand who do not yet know because their truth lies still deeper than all the ones who speak and can be named.

And every one of us is needed now.To do whatever we can do: to be named, to speak, to know, to not know.

And everyone, the one who can be named, who can speak, who knows, and who does not yet know, is within each of us.

These powerfully moving words, written in The Feminine Face of God by Sherry Ruth Anderson and Patricia Hopkins, have been a tremendous inspiration to the vision that has borne Touchstones of the Sacred. Today these words are as relevant if not more so, because the need to re-awaken the Sacred Feminine in our culture is increasingly urgent.

In an exclusive video interview on our site entitled Ten Thousand Women, Sherry tells the story of how these words came to her and have remained inscribed in her mind for nearly 20 years. Click here to view all Sacred Feminine Video, including exclusives with Lama Palden Drolma and Miranda Macpherson.

We invite you to speak your truth here and share how you experience the sacred or awakened feminine. What is your vision for an awakened culture that honors the Sacred Feminine?

Sacred Spirit Book Club Coming Soon

August 21, 2009 By: Matsya Siosal Category: Sacred Spirit Book Club

The mission of Celedra: Touchstones of the Sacred is to create and nurture community while providing tools, resources and diverse paths to explore along your own sacred journey of intentional living. We hope to be a resource for women at any stage of their life and spiritual journey and believe that books are are a wonderful way to bridge the gaps in our common experience, especially by discussing them in a group.

Inspired by their teachings and stories, books support us in growth and change. Books can quench our spiritual and intellectual search for meaning and sustain us on our lifelong journeys. The best books also motivate us to action, igniting the internal spark that leads to transformation.

We have chosen The Feminine Face of God by Sherry Ruth Anderson and Patricia Hopkins to launch our book club for several reasons. Originally published in 1991, this book is a timeless resource for women as they begin to heed the inner call of the sacred; it also reflects the nascent stage that our blog community is in. The book chronicles the journey each of us take as individuals and the questioning and open discussion in the book also reflects the type of community we hope to nurture here.

Once we begin the first book cycle our core writers and guest bloggers will post their insights, personal reflections and questions to the community throughout each week. We invite you to post your own comments and personal reflections as well. If you would like to participate in our book club as a guest blogger contact us at The start date for The Feminine Face of God will be announced soon! In the meantime please feel free to contact us for more information.
