Featured Artist: Diane Fergurson

Diane Fergurson is an exhibiting fine artist and jewelry designer whose work explores our symbolic relationship to spiritual tradition.  Her ongoing series of Mandala paintings depict the

consolidation, balance and organization of the energy which is manifested within each and every one of us.

The “Connecting Heaven and Earth” artwork takes this idea a step further and explores the concept of the center (mandala) being in a continual stream of energetic movement: ascending, descending, mixing and merging…always connected to the free flow of universal energy.

All of the paintings in the “Mandala” and “Connecting Heaven and Earth” series were made on

a canvas covered wood surface. The images were not computer generated or manipulated. Diane employs various processes of acrylic painting and combines them with encaustic techniques, mixed media and found objects.
