Will you be in Austin TX this weekend? If so be sure to visit Art City Austin 2010 where Touchstones artist Mickie Bellah will be one of many exhibiting artists. Art City Austin is the largest juried art show in this creative, capital city and attracts over 25,000 visitors each year. The annual show benefits local art museums.

Celebrating 60 years, [Art City Austin, a] temporary art utopia is set in downtown Austin’s 2ND Street District, where urban, green, civic and cultural environments intersect and play host to the 2-day Austin-style celebration of art. 190 juried artists, site-specific art installations, local live music and good eats, a kid’s block with interactive art projects and so much more. Join us. Together we make art happen.

Hours: Saturday, 10am to 6pm & Sunday, 11am to 6pm

Location and Entrances: Cesar Chavez Street from Colorado Street to just east of Lamar Boulevard, including the 1st Street Bridge. Enter at either Cesar Chavez & Guadalupe, Cesar Chavez & Colorado, Cesar Chavez & Lamar, or South 1st Street at the Bridge. See Map.

Admission: Adults $8, Children 12 and under are FREE, and art activities are $1 per activity.
